On 10 December 2017, Huizhou Anemometer Tower Installation work was successfully completed, it was the first Wind Farm EPC project undertaken by Guangzhou Salvage,. It made the new working water depth record of domestic wind farm jacket installation project.

The project was located in the south side sea area of the Gangkou town of Huizhou, with a working water depth of 35 meters. The work scope included laying of a 45-ton positioning frame, driving of three 68-meter-long steel pipe piles, and underwater installation of a jacket with 50 meters in height and  280 tons in weight. After the jacket was installed, the underwater grouting operation was carried out at a water depth of 35 meters.

In this project, Guangzhou Salvage had three technical innovation. Frist was the innovation of deep-water jacket and foundation construction method. In a 35-meter depth of water, for the first time, we drove the piles before the installation of jacket, and then did the grouting after the jacket was installed. Second was the innovation of measuring method for pre-piling of jacket construction. This innovated method improved the underwater measurement accuracy.  Third was the innovation of construction method of underwater pile insertion and jacket installation. It ensured the accuracy and quality of underwater alignment.
