Mao Ming 250,000 DWT Single Point Mooring Crude Oil Jetty is the main oil supply channel to the Mao Ming Oil Refinery Plant. The single point mooring buoy is the key facility. The replacement of the buoy ensures the long time service of the oil supply channel to the Mao Ming Oil Refinery Plant. The basic parameters of the buoy: the height of the main body of the new buoy is 5.3m, diameter is 12m (the maximum diameter is about 18m), overall height of the buoy is 9.8m. The weight is about 300t.
Specialty of this project:
The project staff had designed a set of device to fix the flange of the bend based on the bend structure and the installation difficulties, this had smoothened the installation of the 2 subsea hose and built a firm foundation for the completion of works ahead of schedule.
