Project Profile:

The Fujairah F2 IWPP is the world's second largest IWPP project after it completes. The total amount of investment is 11 billion Dirham or around 2.8 billion USD. The Fujairah F2 IWPP is capable of supplying 2,000 MW power and 130 million imperial gallon of water per day. Guangzhou Salvage was responsible for the offshore installation of 6 nos. of intake head structures and around 1300m long DN4000 GRP intake pipes.
Innovations:

Our first time of design of the steel pontoons and air tubes to provide assistant buoyancy for the intake head structures, had solved the difficulty of lacking large floating cranes in the local area.
