Across Victoria Harbour ,the Hongkong new airport subway 502 tunnel is a two-lane tunnel with length 1260m.the tunnel consists of 10 reinforced concrete units which 12.42m wide and 7.65m high ,and weight reached 12000 tons each. Guangzhou Salvage take charge of  the transporting and immerse works of the tunnel units  and construction of foundation treatment  at water depth of 30m maximum. The project was started in August 3, 1995 and was completed in June 30, 1996.
Engineering characteristics: the tunnel project is a large offshore project, located in Victoria Harbour the construction schedule is tight with high quality demand.
