| Displaying
the spirit of ‘Offering the life hope to others while leaving
the death danger to ourselves’, staff of GS have successfully
completed all kinds of salvage and emergency tasks, with the rage
extended to Pacific, Indian Ocean and Atlantics. By the end of
Nov 2005, GS had salvaged about 450 vessels including 120 foreigns,
completed removal of 293 shipwrecks including 50 of foreign-flagged,
and 82 other sunken properties (cases), with a rate of effective
rescue and salvage of 100%. The safe floating of 10,000 t Tanker
Da Qing 236 without oil leakage was awarded Second Prize of the
National Scientific Progress. The successful re-floating of 50,000t
Peng Yang bulk has been recorded as the biggest vessel in Chinese
salvage history. |
