GS provides ocean engineering services for offshore oil/gas industry such as platform towing, installation, inspection, pipeline/cable installation, SPM installation and maintenance, underwater blasting and welding. Also, air, mix-air, and saturation diving, ROV operation have been provided to 16 platforms for 6 domestic and international oil companies. COEGC’ technology in underwater energy-concentrated blasting (Second Prize of the National Scientific Progress), deep seabed leveling for platform installation, damage remedy on submarine pipeline (Prize of Scientific Rationalization in the Ministry of Communications), and the study of atmospheric diving suit is in the leading place nationwide.
