Located at southeast Guangzhou City, Guangzhou Luntou- Biological Island - University City Tunnel Project
located in the southeast of Guangzhou City,  starting from southern express and crossing Luntou River, Guangzhou Luntou- Biological Island Tunnel Project ends at main road of University City of Guangzhou City. Designed for two-way four lane ,The tunnel length for 1109 meters, and width of about 23 meters. The immersed t section mileage is from K0+435 to K0+712, full-length 277 meters. Consisting of  four tunnel units ,the tunnel is jointed by flexible joint connection.
With total length of 1338.587m, and tunnel length 810 meters, The immersed section consists of 214 meters long tunnel with a width of 23 meters, two-way 4 lanes. the total investment of about 500 million yuan.
Engineering features: the tunnel is the second cross Pearl River tunnel in Guangzhou City. from north to south, through the city center line directly to the south express . The project is the first to adopt the “mobile dry dock method” of frabricating tunnel unit on deck of semi-submersible barge.
