This intake and outfall project for the cooling pump station of Shenzhen eastern power plant is very complicate, large construction scale, high construction technology. Main construction work including: supply and installation of 3 numbers of precast concrete caisson units, which weigh is 5000t each; in-situ concreting works; amour rocks protection for intake unit; drainage box culvert and outfall unit.
Project Features:
For the precast and installation of 5000t concrete caisson units, we create two records: 1) The heaviest precast concrete unit which deploy single pour method; 2) The heaviest precast concrete unit which deploy loading by air tubes method. That has been of great concern and highly respect in the domestic and oversea industry. It took almost one and a half year of hard working, and was completed in May of 2006, which was a remark of higher level for our construction technology and management of large-scale marine project.
Awards: "5000-ton large concrete caisson units deploying single pouring method and shipped by airbag technology" won the third prize of Science and Technology of China Navigation.
